LEGACY is our annual Student Conference for grades 6-12.

It is a weekend hosted at our Church on Main campus, filled with powerful worship, engaging messages and intentional

encouragement of our next generation to live a life pleasing to God. This year’s theme is “Be the Example”

where we will dig into 1 Timothy 4:12 and how to apply it in tangible ways to their daily lives.

$70 PER STUDENT

LEGACY weekend kicks off Friday evening with check-in beginning at 5:00pm. The $70 registration fee includes our annual LEGACY t-shirt for your student as well as meals throughout the weekend while they’re here on campus.

This year we will have host homes available to provide the opportunity for your student to stay the entire weekend within their small group (organized by grade level and gender). However, should you wish to pick your student up each evening, you may elect to do so and can distinguish that preference during registration.

Please plan to join us for our upcoming Parent Information Meeting coming in January here in the Church on Main Dining Room. Specific date, time and details will be posted soon. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet our Student Ministry staff as well as have all of your questions answered.

FAQs

  • Host Homes are designated private residents of Church on Main members and staff that student small groups are able to stay at over LEGACY weekend. Small groups are determined by grade level and gender. Small group leaders remain with their students at all times.

This year Host Homes are optional - meaning that should you prefer your student return home each evening, you may do so by marking that preference during registration. Please note, for security purposes you or a pre-determined, approved adult must check your child out each evening should you choose that route. Photo ID will be required.

  • While this is a big event, students are broken down into small groups separated by grade and gender. Those small groups will be together throughout the weekend, specifically during small group times immediately following each session. Because of the exciting nature of the weekend we also encourage students to invite their friends from school to join them.

Church on Main staff and volunteers present throughout the weekend are required to complete our vetting process prior to serving.

  • They can still come! We want your student to be at whatever part of LEGACY they can. Parents will need to fill out a Time Away card providing us the specifics. Time Away Cards will be sent to you via email post-registration submission.

For security reasons, we will require a pre-determined, approved adult to check your student out and photo ID will have to be presented.

  • Students should be checked in/out through the South Commons entrance of Church on Main located at 2400 Main Street in Snellville, Ga. The South entrance is located on the back side of campus and numerous signs will be out to aid you.

  • Please contact Corban Stone at cstone@churchonmain.net with the details. We will do everything we can to accommodate your child’s nutritional needs at all meals.

  • The registration fee covers everything, including sessions, t-shirt, all meals and recreation. The only items not covered in your registration fee would be any merchandise your student may want to purchase from our speakers or band such as CDs, books, shirts, etc.

  • No problem! You will be emailed a Medication Form after you register. Please bring the completed form with you along with the medication itself at Friday night check in. You will be able to hand deliver them directly to your student’s small group leader.

  • Yes, however they will not have consistent access to their vehicle. For security purposes, we will be collecting keys from all student drivers for safe keeping while they are checked into LEGACY.

More details on this will be provided at our Parent Meeting on Jan. 23rd at 1:00pm.

  • All students attending LEGACY should bring their Bible, pens and completed medical form/time away card (if applicable). We also suggest they wear athletic attire as well as a light sweater or jacket.

Students electing to stay at a Host Home over the weekend need to also bring pajamas, two changes of clothes, toiletries, a pillow and sleeping bag or blanket(s). We also suggest they bring any snacks they may want.

  • We ask that you do not bring any electronic devices (such as iPods, iPads, laptops, etc.), inappropriate clothing, movies or music, your pet or anything you’d get in trouble for at home or with police.
