Our loving and trained staff provides a curriculum-based learning program for children from birth through kindergarten. Our children are challenged and inspired to love exploring and thinking for themselves. We offer hands-on learning where each child develops age-appropriate social skills while experiencing success, happiness and self-confidence.

This step-by-step, multi-sensory program will set a solid, spiritual and academic foundation for your child. Our goals are to show children how the life and promises of Jesus are relevant to their own personal situations here and now, and to prepare them academically with an encouraging, fun and positive environment.

  • philosophy

    We desire to provide a safe and loving atmosphere of fun and excitement while learning—where a child’s environment is stimulated at each age level to explore, discover and experience success socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually.

    We believe in a “building block” teaching strategy where each age level is built on the prior age level. Therefore, from babies through kindergarten, your child will receive a solid step-by-step foundation. We teach the “whole” child and lovingly develop a strong foundation to prepare each child for kindergarten/first grade.

    Realizing all children learn on different levels, our primary goals are:

    • To provide a hands-on learning environment where the child develops age appropriate social skills and experiences success, thus promoting happiness and self-confidence.

    • To provide a strong curriculum that inspires a desire and excitement to learn and also spurs creativity.

    • To provide a spiritual foundation through sharing, songs and teaching about God, Jesus and the Bible.

    • To show Christian love and accept each child as a unique individual.

  • Faculty

    Our staff consists of fully trained and experienced Christian teachers and assistants. They attend several teacher workshops and seminars throughout the year to continually enhance their own educational development. Each class is staffed with a teacher and assistant that genuinely love and deeply care about the children. They all have a strong desire for quality teaching and aim for the learning to be fun.

    Security is very important in the preschool area. Closed circuit security cameras are located throughout the church hallways. Our preschool areas are secured during school hours with only scheduled volunteers and employees allowed in the classrooms. It is essential that we are able to reach you if needed during school hours so be sure to notify us of any changes in your contact information.

    You need to be prepared to show identification when picking up your child. Please enter through the Church on Main lobby where a receptionist will call for one of our staff members to escort you to your child’s class. Only pre-authorized persons are able to pick your child up so any changes must be submitted in writing.

  • curriculum

    We provide an enriched developmental program at each age level that is both biblically based as well as academically challenging to ensure success at each “building block” stage of learning. Whether in our babies program, kindergarten or somewhere in between, your child will be ready for the next level. All areas of teaching are covered—Language Development, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music and Movement. We also provide Spanish for our four-year and kindergarten classes.

    Wee Learn, published by LifeWay Christian Resources, is our biblically based curriculum for ages four weeks-preK. It is composed of thematic units and incorporates learning concepts and skills through play and academics. Saxon curriculum is also used for our three-year and four-year-old classes. Our kindergarten classes use Abeka K5. For enhancement and supplementing, other materials and curricula are also used.
